Buy Fresh Buy Local® Nebraska (BFBLN) has over a decade of experience promoting Nebraskan family farmers and ranchers who grow and raise agricultural products for consumption in the state. BFBLN is a membership-based program that supports Nebraskan producers engaged in retail agriculture business, direct-to-retail sales, farmers’ markets, on farm stands, and wholesale markets (grocers, restaurants, institutions). Businesses that purchase local food or ingredients also qualify to join. All our members are listed on our website and those who register before January 31st are included in our annual food guide that is distributed across the state.

BFBLN also develops consumer education and outreach on why choosing locally-grown has the capacity to create more entrepreneurial opportunities for rural communities and reconnect citizens to our land, our farms, our communities, and healthy food. We host Local Food Showcases in several communities across the state to celebrate the abundance and diversity of local foods available to Nebraskan residents.
