Yes. The front of the Weights & Measures renewal postcard lists the amount owed along with the owner ID. Checks can be made payable to the Nebraska Department of Agriculture and mailed to the address listed as the return address on the postcard. Please be sure to include the owner ID on the memo line or include the postcard with the payment.

If this is your first time registering with us then you will receive a permit. Existing businesses will keep their current permit. New permits are only reissued if the ownership has changed, the name of the establishment or the address of the establishment has changed. Existing businesses will need to have paid in full their renewal fees from the previous year.

Payments made by check will take longer than online payments to process. During the renewal season, it can take 3 to 4 weeks for a new business to receive their new permit.
